Question Inelastic processes below 30 MeV

Forum: Hadronic Processes

From: Peter Broere <Peter Broere>

Hi, I'm just wondering if there are any models for certain inelastic scatterings of Ions on hydrogen for energies below 30 MeV (total energy, not energy per nucleon.) the reactions i am interested in are mainly:

* Al-25 + H -> Si-26 + gammas
* F-18 + H -> O-15 + alpha + gammas
* P-30 + H -> S-31 + gammas

I have tried many different models so far, and just now realised that most of them are probably not applicable for such low energies, since the returned cross sections for those energies are ~0.
