Question Apparent Non-conservation of Energy

Hello,

I am currently using a freshly installed Geant4.10.0.p02 and the data libraries. I have observed some strange results in my simulation, however, and it seems to be at the level of Geant4, not at the user level. In the simulation, some neutrons interact with aluminium. When they are captured, the aluminium is left in an excited state with approximately 7.7 MeV (from some quick calculations). However, in some events, up to 35 MeV is given off from this nCapture event. Copied below is one example of this apparent non-conservation of energy. Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? Or if I am just interpreting this wrong? Could I have mistakenly fiddled with this? I am using my own physics list, but this also happens when I use the QGSP_BERT_HP list.
