 You can double check your results with a Geant4 example.
 Hadr03 (in extended/hadronic) will give you cross sections as they are in G4NDL (G4HadronicProcessStore), and as a result of the simulation.
 I attach a macro and its output.

 Please check cross sections and final state (especially at 250 keV)
