Hello, I saw an earlier post with a similar question, but with no reply, so I'll try again.

I'm considering a one-neutron knockout reaction on a beryllium target of the type:

36Si + 9Be -> 35Si + X + gammas.

The gammas from the 35Si are discrete and I've got a handle on that. But the gammas from the X (we don't detect this part) are a continuous statistical distribution. I would like to use the Binary Cascade model (or something similar) to reproduce this statistical gamma distribution.

The reaction is strongly surface-peaked and so I would like to be able to access the impact parameter used in the reaction model in order to make the appropriate cuts. Is there a way to do this?

Also, I read in an earlier post that the nuclear radii are a factor of 4 larger than they should be, so I imagine this would need to be accounted for in when considering impact parameters. If I can get impact parameters out, would I just need to scale them by 4 as well?
