Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.
|1||0||1||no text / full text of posting|

The title of my message seems not really clear but i explain what happens.
I have one remote computer and one virtual machine on my laptop. The remote computer runs under Red Hat Linux and the virtual machine under Scientific Linux. On both machines I have installed geant4 realease 9.5.p01 : on the remote computer it has been installed with the new cmake method and on the virtual machine it has been installed with the old method.
On both computer I run the same program. The 241Am is defined and used. When I run the program on the virtual machine, I have such message :
Construct Had Construct Had IONS Construct Had alpha Construct Had neutron NeutronHP: /Elastic file for Z = 95, A = 241 is not found and NeutronHP will use /home/jerome/geant4/geant4.9.5.p01/data/G4NDL4.0/Elastic/CrossSection/92_241_Uranium
Ok Geant4 does not have Am data but switch by itself to near nucleus data that is 241U.
When I run the program on the remote computer, I have such message :
Construct Had Construct Had IONS Construct Had alpha Construct Had neutron Please contact Geant4 Hadron Group Coordinator In /data/Geant4/geant4.9.5.p01/source/processes/hadronic/models/neutron_hp/src/G4NeutronHPNames.cc, line 92: ===> G4NeutronHPNames::GetName - data with Z>92 are not provided terminate called after throwing an instance of 'G4HadronicException' what(): 19G4HadronicException Abandon
That time Geant4 cannot swith by itself whereas it does for other nuclei defined within my program (but theu have a Z < 92). If I defined 241Am with Z=92 (instead of 95) problem is bypassed.
I have checked the neutron data installed on the remote computer on the virtual machine and no problem appears : data are the same.
So where does the problem come from and how to resolve it?
thanks a lot,
