I am trying to get neutron yield from Be9 produced by 60 MeV protons. Tested different models (BertiniCascade, BinaryCascade, LEProtonInelastic and PreCompundModel), all of them fail in one way or another. G4PreCompoundModel, as expected, produces p+Be9=B10 nucleus in a highly excited state of 30-60 MeV, which however goes to ground state with 4 gamma emission. What do I have to change to get n+p/d-emission in deexcitation? Moreover there is 30 MeV threshold for p+Be9-->d+Be8 reaction, which I guess has to be much lower (neutron binding energy 1.7 MeV).
