Question p+Be elastic scattering: angular distribution

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 11 Feb, 2013
From: Mikhail <Mikhail>

In v.4.9.5.p01 elastic scattering of protons from Be9 target in energy range <60 MeV using G4LElastic model gives strange results: the distribution is cut at 100 degrees. That does not occur for CHIPS. Moreover, I am not sure I understand the drop of cross section at angles <15 degrees, is it some kind of kinematic joke?
