Hello, I am trying to simulate fissile material for reactor/ADS applications and have the following problem: I need to have both fission fragments and delayed neutrons in my simulation. When I use G4ParaFissionModel, I have fission fragments but no delayed neutrons; when I use G4NeutronHPFission - I see delayed neutrons but have no fission fragments. So is there any way to code it up in PhysicsList to have both? I currently have the following code for fission:
G4HadronFissionProcess* theFissionProcess = new G4HadronFissionProcess;
G4ParaFissionModel* theParaFission = new G4ParaFissionModel(); theParaFission->SetMinEnergy(20.0*MeV); theFissionProcess->RegisterMe(theParaFission);
G4NeutronHPFission* hpFission = new G4NeutronHPFission(); hpFission->SetMaxEnergy(20.0*MeV); G4NeutronHPFissionData* theHPFissionData = new G4NeutronHPFissionData(); theFissionProcess->AddDataSet(theHPFissionData); theFissionProcess->RegisterMe(hpFission);
But it does not give me fission fragments. Also number of gammas from fission is always 1 (whereas if I use G4ParaFissionModel only, I have more-or-less realistic multiplicity of gammas).
If I try to overlap the energy - it complains with "GetHadronicInteraction: Energy ranges of two models fully overlapping".
Also to ask everything in one thread - I have two more questions:
1) Is spontaneous fission finally in the package? I see some threads about this on the forum with the latest one being probably this one:
If it is in , I will appreciate references and guides on how to implement it in PhysicsList.
2) The same question for photofission process.
