Question Understanding nCapture in Geant4: Capture on 28Si

Hi all

This message presents three pieces of information about neutron ID =4:

1) First chunk presents {all} the neutron history (for ID=4) using "/tracking/verbose 1" i.e. minimum information . Notice initial n energy is 3.28MeV and since ID=4 then I believe the neutron already went an inelastic scattering in a previous step (Incident n energy = 14MeV). One can see the neutron slowing down mainly by elastic interactions.

2) Second chunk presents the last neutron interactions (steps 96 - 102) with "/tracking/verbose 2" i.e. minimum information plus additional info. about sec particles.

3) Third chunk shows me tapping the G4TrackVector in stepping action and accessing the information of the secondary particles when the neutron ID=4 undergoes capture.

I am trying to understand why in this capture interaction I get 5 gamma rays, 6.38, 5.11, 3.54, 3.54, 3.54, all in MeV units.

Calculation of available energy in this capture: atomic mass unit (u) = 931.494061 MeV/c^2

mass 28Si=27.9769265325 u

mass 29Si=28.976494700 u

mass n = 1.008664916 u

then

28Si + n = 28.985591448 u

Now

delta_mass = dM = [28Si + n] - 29Si = [28.985591448] - 28.976494700 = 0.009096748 u =8.473567202 MeV/c^2

So maximum energy in this process would be 8.5MeV . Why would I get 5 gamma rays, 6.38 + 5.11 + (3.54 x 3) MeV?
