The problem I am seeing seems to have nothing to do with cascades, etc. The single elastic hadronic scattering (included via G4HadronElasticPhysicsHP) gives the attached distribution:


which is very surprising, since, I thought, GEANT now uses ENDF, the distribution from which is the following:

Both distributions are for neutron energy of 2.94MeV.

Before I submit a bug report, I would like to check everything, hence my first question:

1) How do I look at the angular differential cross-section directly, so I that can make a plot vs polar angle for this energy?

To remedy this situation, I can use an ENDF cross-section directly, hence my second question 2) How do I tell GEANT to use my cross-sections?

An answer to either question will be appreciated.
