Question thermal neutron scattering enabled in HP models ?

Dear all,

Sorry for this silly question, but I am trying to use the thermal n scattering model for heavy water, so I followed the material definition suggestion in HadPhysics2 tutorial, using the "TS" addition to names (by the way, is this still required in 4.9.5 ?):

    G4Isotope* TS_D = new G4Isotope("TS_D_iso", iz=1, n=2, a=2.01*g/mole);
    G4Element* elTSD  = new G4Element("TS_D"  ,symbol="D" , 1);
    elTSD->AddIsotope(TS_D, 100.*perCent);

and then the D2O_TS material...

The 4.9.5 release notes state that "Thermal scattering is enabled in the HP neutron models", and I am using the QGSP_BIC_HP physics, so I thought I no longer have to modify the builder files in order to add this.

But the process summary printout shows no thermal scattering for neutrons being enabled/activated.

Could you please let me know how the thermal scattering is enabled in the HP neutron models, as it seems I still have to go into the builder files in physics_lists to add it myself, so I see no difference from 4.9.4 ? Or maybe I am missing something?

Thank you,

Best regards,

Cristian
