Hi

I could not reproduce your problem by the 1 M events simulation of 1MeV neutron on G4_Cu target. I did this on v9.5 with NDL4.0 with Shielding physics list.

One point, the cross section of Cu65(n,a) reaction will not be ZERO until the energy down to 0.11MeV, but I do not believe this is the reason your problem.
