Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. We have a model of a 110 MeV proton beam on a tissue target which we have used since version 4.9.1_p03. It is based on the HadronTherapy example. When we updated to version 4.9.4_p02, we noticed some significant changes to the results.
To begin with the nuclear de-excitation gamma distribution used to be clearly quantized the expected characteristic spectra with version 4.9.1. With version 4.9.4, the gamma energies are smeared (see attached plot). Does anyone know why the energies are now smeared?
