What do you mean with "low energy" neutrons? both physics lists are aplied for En > 20 MeV, below the HPelastic is used.

Moreover, now I found out that in G4LElastic the interaction produces a recoiling Xe nuclei, while in G4HadronElastic it doesn't ... the energy is released directly by the neutron itself.

Is it a bug or it is known that this is the behaviour of the G4HadronElastic ?
