Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

Checking the "/tracking/verbose 1" output more carefully it looks like in many (most of the) neutron capture processes, taking the captured neutron track ID, there is only one gamma which has the parent ID matching the neutron's track ID, and no element/isotope that should be produced in these processes is tracked/simulated.
So in many neutron capture processes there is only one gamma produced and no new (A->A+1) nucleus.
In order to find how many Th-233 isotopes are produced from n-capture on Th-232, I could of course count the neutron capture processes rather than the produced Th-233 nuclei, and this would solve my second question.
The first question regarding what happened to the neutrons produced, given the big difference in (neutron_produced) - (neutrons_escaping+neutrons_captured), still remains...
