The "problem" still persists even though the results seem reasonable for boron as well. My incident neutrons are completely energetically thermal. The resulting process i see in the stepping manager is neutron inelastic collision, something that should not happen with thermal neutrons.

I have not tried with 4.9.4 yet, because I am afraid to break the well working 4.9.3 setup and I did not see anything in the changelog that could be it.
