Question Rare pion decay modes

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 17 May, 2010
From: Tom Roberts <Tom Roberts>

pi+ has some rare decay modes, specifically e+ nu_e with a branching ratio of (1.230+-0.004)*10^-4. There are others with smaller branching ratios. These are important for simulating backgrounds in some experiments, but they are not implemented in Geant4 9.3 (QGSP_BERT).

Ditto for pi- (pi0?), and possibly other common beam particles (kaons?).

What is the best way to implement these? Can the Geant4 team do it?
