So I've been launching 14.1MeV neutrons into a tritium target to follow breakup deuterons and protons and I've noticed that during elastic scattering the scattered tritons are being described as He3 ions? The He3 energy distribution is near the elastic scattered triton distribution but is a little higher at lower energies.
When I launch 14.1MeV neutrons into a deuterium or He3 target the results are as expected. Iím using Geant4.9.3. Any ideas what could be going on here?
