Question nuclei model in the Bertini cascade

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 02 Oct, 2009
From: Dorota <Dorota>

Hi,

I realized that in the Bertini cascade a nucleus radius is very big e.g. 19.4931 fm for Ar instead of around 3.4 fm (according to r=r0*A^(1/3)). I would like to understand very much why nuclei are so artificially swollen in this model?

Thank you, Dorota
