DistanceToIn(p,v) is giving the distance to the Solid from point p and direction v. The point p has to be either Outside Solid or on the Surface of Solid. From the Warning Message it seems that the point p is Inside of the Paraboloid. Without having more details about your geometry, it is difficult to see why this warning is appears. It can be a problem with the volumes that overlapping, for more information you can see the Chapter 184.108.40.206 of the User's Guide for Application Developers. It can be a problem with the setting of the tolerance of the model, for example for very big or very small objects. For this you can have a look in the Chapter 220.127.116.11.
