Hi Kazuyoshi,

I was actually wrong in my previous reply, I apologize for it.
You can actually use mathematical expressions, and therefore also
trigonometric functions, in GDML. This functionality comes for free
from the fact that the GDML reader inherently adopts the CLHEP
expression evaluator. Therefore, as Radovan pointed out, you can
define expressions with mathematical functions, provided that the
final arguments are literals (in case of combined/nested expressions
you should split them, assigning to variables as constants).
