 Dear Bryce,

 G4Hype is a solid that describes an hyperbolic volume with curved sides 
 parallel to z-axis.  
 The stereo angles are corresponding to the asymptotes of hyperbolic surfaces,
 they can be different for inner and outer surface.
 If you want to create parabolic surface in Geant4 you can use G4Paraboloid.
 You can find this solid in Application Developers Guide, in chapter 4.1.2 Solids.
