Thanks, that's a very good suggestions regarding indexing by geometry.

I currently have in mind to use parallel geometry to define the grid, but not implement G4ParallelWorldScoringProcess (so steps don't get stopped at boundaries). However, I am getting segmentation errors during tracking when I try to access touchable beyond the first level, i.e. GetReplicaNumber(n>0).

I believe this is due to the steps not "seeing" the parallel world. So I think this way of going about it may be incorrect.

Can I ask how a dummy geometry can be properly constructed? I want to define a grid that does not limit steps at the boundaries.

Thank you, Ryan
