 It is to you to define a 'virtual' cell not only in r, but in theta
 and phi. 
 You will probably need a 3D array, something like cell[ir][jtheta][kphi]
 and to compute the cell numbers in SteppingAction.
 Something similar is done in TestEm2, though cylindrical.

 If you prefere to do it by geometry, you can do 3 successive replicas.
 Then the array will be indexed by copyNumber of current volume,
 mother volume, grandmother volume. See TestEm3/src/SteppingAction
