  you may be interested to look at :
  examples/extended/electromagnetic/TestEm12  (or Em11)
  see README

 - the spread of energy deposit is done in SteppingAction
 - the step size is controlled either by stepMax (default, see run01.mac)
    or geometry replica (run02.mac)
