Question Multiple Geometry Updates Necessary?

Keywords: G4Tubs, geomtery, update, rotate
Forum: Geometry

From: Daniel Mittelberger <dem@gwu.edu>

I have built a simualation of a detector consisting of a central
cylinder surrounded by a four annular segments that completely jacket the
cylinder. I've added several UI commands to move/rotate the detector, but
I need to update the geometry several times after changing the geometry.
At first, I though it might just be a visualization problem (I'm using
OGLIX), but I've run simulations with one setup, updated the geometry with
out changing it and run more events, and repeated this. It gives
different results, even though the geometry hasn't changed. Has anyone
seen a similar error? The simulation is build off of the TestEm5 example.
Please let me know what other information would be helpful.
