Question Volume hierarchy tree, and finding volume by name

Keywords: volume hierarchy

Hi,

Is there any class containing volume hierarchy which is available during simulation?

Is there any get method returning pointer to physical volume having volume name as input parameter?

I couldn't find any of those above. I'm trying to get information about vertex where the secondary is generated. There's method to get the current volume it's in, but if that volume is inside another, and I need to test the latter one, how could I do it? The hierarchy could be much more complicated. So I can get the requested volume and look if the current volume is an ancestor. That's the way I would like to do it, but I don't know how to get the requested volume using only it's name.

I tryed to trace the hierarchy by descending from the World volume, but I couldn't find even get method for world volume. I thing it should be accesible after geometry was registered.

Thanks for help
