I have the impression you may have 'confused' concepts of what is a 'logical' volume and
a 'physical' volume. I would suggest you to look at the documentation where such concepts,
I think, are well defined.
Replicas are physical volumes which are -slicing- in equal parts (with no gaps) a given
mother volume; this mother volume cannot contain anything else.

You can have placed volumes inside a replica, and, as such, be replicated.

Of course, it can.

Don't know what you mean exactly by "daughter repeated physical volumes", but
parameterised volumes can have placed volumes inside.

If I understood correctly ... in principle you can, but you must know what you're doing in
your parameterisation at least ...

Cheers, Gabriele
