Question Memory Leak and G4RotationMatrix in Parameterised Volume

Keywords: memory leak
Forum: Geometry
Date: 10 Sep, 2006
From: Leo Aliaga <Leo Aliaga>

Hi. I am making a simple geometry based on several scintillator strips.
These must be placed together and must rotate 180 degrees between them.
For this, I am using “G4VPVParameterisation” and I need to run many
events in order to simulate the passage of gamma rays from a radioactive
source to the scintillators for several seconds.
However, When I use G4RotationMatrix in "ComputeTransformation", I have
a strong memory leak. I tried to delete the pointer to G4RotationMatrix
but I could not have right results.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
I put for the rotation:
G4RotationMatrix* rm = new G4RotationMatrix();
rm->rotateY(180*copyNo*deg);
physVol->SetRotation(rm);
Thank you
Leo Aliaga
