In your GeneratePrimaries(G4Event*) method of your primary
generator action, you can utilize the event number as a time
stamp. For example,

void MyGeneratorAction::GeneratePrimaries(G4Event* evt)
{
  G4int eventID = evt->GetEventID();
  G4Double x = v*eventID; 
  particleGun->SetParticleGun(G4ThreeVector(x,0.,0.));
  ...
}
