I also have problem with g4torus. I think dPhi is not what it should be. For example if you put opening angle to be 90.deg and dPhi=45.deg you will get the segment of 135.deg(=90+45). Playing around with numbers I was able to get what I want, however when I put another g4torus inside and do geometry/test/recursive_test I get a bunch of messages like:

 GeomTest Error: SolidProblem
    Spurious entering intersection point
    Solid name = CPipe_tor
    Local position =       -1.45852       1.89374        -0.294 cm

and segmentation error in the end. Is there a way to solve that problem and does it affect tracking? I'm using geant4.6. Thanks,
