Question Is it possible to nullify a mother volume?

Hi, experts,

In my application, I want to set rotation and translation to a plaque (in eye plaque therapy) together with the seeds in its slots. As the seeds have their own structure, it has mother-daughter structure. I plan to place the plaque and the seeds in another mother volume. To avoid the difficulty in constructing a volume that has a similar shape to the plaque, I want the mother volume to be a sphere. But this volume will inevitably overlap with eye structures. Can I nullify this mother volume while keeping its daughter volumes? or is there another way around?

BTW, the plaque geometry is in stl format, which can be imported into Geant4.

Thanks.
