I need to rotate a cylinder around an axis which is different from x, y, and z axis, and perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder. I tried to use the method of rotate(anagle, axis) for G4RotationMatrix. It seems this method does not work correctly at all. Besides, it seems that the method has not been tested in the examples.
The problem I dealt with was first rotating it around y axis, then around that flipped axis. I am completely bewildered now.
Does anyone have experience and advice on that?
