Hi HyperNews,

I've found the bug...I used a larger-than-b "empty" LogicVolume box to pack up the complex inner structures of b, and the box is just wide enough to overlap a bit more than half of the space of a. So being sandwiched by b's at both side, a is basically overlapped by a "empty" volume and thus becomes a channel for photon to come through.

Sorry I forgot I did this and kept thinking that I didn't create anything overlapping the same space to confuse the simulator.
