Question How to construct hyperboloid of two sheets?

Forum: Geometry
Date: 23 Jun, 2017
From: <Tekkaman>

Hi,

I want to construct a Wolter I x-ray telescope to study proton damage. But I don't know how to construct a strict hyperboloid mirror. I don't accept cone approximating. What G4Hype define is a hyperboloid of one sheet. However, what I want is half part of a hyperboloid of two sheets. Any help would be great!

Thanks.
