Question G4ThreeVector - y value is not being read correctly

Forum: Geometry
Date: 11 Jan, 2017
From: <php1ic>

I've just installed the latest version (10.3) and am no longer able to move my detector volumes in the y-direction.

I can replicate this with the B1 example. In B1DetectorConstruction.cc, if I alter L123 from:

G4ThreeVector pos1 = G4ThreeVector(0, 2*cm, -7*cm);

to

G4ThreeVector pos1 = G4ThreeVector(5*cm, 10*cm, -12*cm);

and recompile the simulation, the truncated cone moves in the x and z direction, but not y.

Does anybody else have this issue?
