Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

I'm trying to create the following geometry - here's a cross section along an axis (let's say the Z axis):
There can be an arbitrary, customizeable number of foils per section and an arbitrary number of sections in the overall geometry; I want to be able to tweak the numbers. Also, the foils and sections won't be perfectly parallel along the Z axis, but will rather point outward slightly along the horizontal axis as one progresses down the Z axis
How would one go about it in Geant4? It looks like the appropriate way would be with assembly volumes, but MakeImprint seems to directly place physical volumes, which would preclude the use of a boolean operation to cut out the center. Plus booleans only work on directly-touching sections anyway, if I'm understanding the manual correctly.
Do I need to hand-calculate and hand-place each foil and barrier - is that the only option?
