Question BuildMaterialWithNewDensity problem

Forum: Geometry
Date: 27 Feb, 2015
From: <Santos>

Hi all,

I am trying to build material with new density out of copper and cannot get over a strange error:

G4NistManager::BuildMaterialWithNewDensity ERROR:
 New material <LightCu01102> cannot be built because material with the same name already exist

Then it throws an exception. The code is:

#########

density = 2.24*g/cm3; MishMash = nist->BuildMaterialWithNewDensity("LightCu01102","G4_Cu",density);

##########

The strange "LightCu01102" name is such because I tried different weird names to make sure it does not accidentally coincide with something.

Could anybody, please, advise me on what is happening and what to do about it.

Thank you.
