Hello, I just wanted to follow up on this thread as I am having the same problem with the GDML Example G01. Both with the Qt viewer and the command-line OpenGL viewer I am not able to render any of the solids from any of the .gdml files.
Instead when using a simple csh interface I just see the green box that the previous user posted, and when I use a Qt interface I can see the axes, scales, G4 logos, etc that I render with a macro, but not the solids.
With load_gdml solids.gdml, the only error that I am seeing is: ERROR: Logical volume "Envelope" not found in logical volume store.
Does anyone have any insight into this problem? I am using the GDML examples to learn how to use the GDML interface with Geant4, but not being able to see what I'm doing is making it a bit challenging.
System Information: -Geant4v10.0.2 -Windows 8.1 -MSVS 2013 Express -Qt4.8.6 -Xerces3.1.1
Geant4 configured and compiled without errors with GDML and Qt support enabled, as did the G01 example. Furthermore example B1 runs fine and fully renders. Any help is much appreciated.
