Question Modeling material with holes

Forum: Geometry
Date: 03 Jul, 2014
From: Svetlana Shasharina <Svetlana Shasharina>

I need to model plates which have many holes in it but they are not regular. I know the ratio of the part density to the density of the solid material and created the corresponding mixture of vacuum and solid material. But will this produce the results similar with the material with holes? I am modeling space radiation and calculating TIDs and fluxes.

Thank you, Sveta
