If you have many cables, say, more than 100, subdivide them in separated bunches inserted in dummy volumes. So, the general idea is to create an inserted many floor geometrical tree with dummy floors (like a Russian doll). In this case a tracking particle will see surrounding cables only and the tracking performance will be optimized. In the case of simple arrangement replica and parametrization approaches can be applied as well.
