None Parameterisation in two dimensions

Dear experts,

I'm sorry if this topic has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it.
I would like to fill a mother volume with holes, like this: (the hexagonal thing would be a big plus, but a cartesian disposal would be enough). I succeeded in this task for just one single row, but I was not able to cover two dimensions.
If I put two parameterisations, Geant4 complains because you can have only one parameterisation per mother volume.

Should I use nested parameterisations, or am I missing something?
