Dear Daisuke, This is certainly not an issue related to the bug #1449, but it is a matter of how to define an optical boundary which is made of two volumes belonging to different worlds, and also how to make the optical boundary process being aware of such a boundary. Defining a boundary is already possible with Geant4 v9.6, but the optical boundary process needs to be modified accordingly. We are working on an example to demonstrate this, and will upload a tar ball to this HyperNews thread as soon as it becomes ready. Thanks for posting your question.
