Hi Geant4 experts,
I developed a simple application in which a water phantom was irradiated by a diverging photon beam with 6 MV energy (spectrum)and scored dose in midplane that worked fine. Then I parametrised my water phantom to have layers of different materials and used RO geometry to score dose as I am not able to voxelize a parmetrised volume. When I execute my code I immidiately (just one single line appearing and nothing else to give me a clue) get an error:"segmentation fault (core dumped)". I tried to check overlapping geometries according guillines for application developers, it seemed the code did not get there. Then I put a "G4cout<<..." command in the first line of main source file and I ended up exactly the same!!
In my understanding it means the simulation crashes even before reading the main source code. Could anyone please give me an idea how I should approach this?
Many thanks Leila
