Hi,

Im not sure why, but I am no longer getting the segmentation fault. However, I am still not able to isolate my parameterised volumes into a separate region. I have been looking through G4Region.hh for some idea of how I can manipulate a Region. Could someone please describe to me what actually happens when the following functions are called:

         In G4Region.hh

         AddRootLogicalVolume(G4LogicalVolume* lv);
         RemoveRootLogicalVolume(G4LogicalVolume* lv);

        & In G4LogicalVolume.hh

        SetRegion(G4Region* reg);

I am attempting to use a combination of these functions to isolate my parameterised geometry into a region of it's own without including the water volume surrounding it. (Please see attached image). So ideally, I would like 3 regions. The default region for the world, the region which includes only the phantom (blue) and a third region which only includes the paramaterised geometry (red).

I would be very grateful if someone has a solution to my problem.

Thank you
