I am currently trying to set-up a physics list by region in my G4 application. The problem I am having is that when I add a root logical volume to my new region, the daughter volumes are also included in this region. Is it possible to exclude the daughter volumes from the region.
There may be another way to solve my problem. I have many replicated geometries inside a water volume which is itself inside the world volume. I need to apply a specific physics list to the water and another to the replicated geometries. Whenever I try to create a new region with the logical volume of the replicated geometries I get a segmentation fault. Can anyone tell me how I can isolate my replicated geometries in a region of their own while excluding the water inbetween these geometries.
