Question Mass of Logical volume

Forum: Geometry
Date: 28 Sep, 2011
From: Michael Douglass <Michael Douglass>

Hello,

I would like to know how to calculate the mass of the volume in which the particle deposited its energy. I am currently using the following code:

s->GetPreStepPoint()->GetPhysicalVolume()->GetLogicalVolume()->GetMass(true))

However, It gives me the same mass regardless of what volume it is in.

I am using a series of parametrized volumes (different sizes) with several identical volumes located within the parameterized volume.

Thanks in advance

Michael Douglass
