Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

Hello Neha, I am not completely sure I understand your case, but in the situation you describe, I believe you need to do a simple placement of your cylinder inside your detector. This cylinder can be full (not hollow). For example, assuming - your material in the world volume is air - your detector is a box, placed directly in the world volume - and the hole is air you can implement you setup with: . create the world volume, fill it with air . create your detector box (G4Box), create the detector box G4LogicalVolume passing this box and the material (Ge ?) as arguments, place this G4LogicalVolume in the world volume using a G4PVPlacement; . create the hole (G4Tubs), create the hole detector G4LogicalVolume passing this tubs and giving "air" as the material, and then place this hole G4LogicalVolume cylinder into the detector box G4LogicalVolume, using a G4PVPlacement. You will have the volume hierachy : hole placed in detector placed in world volume. Then at tracking time, when the G4Track is in the detector box, but not in the hole, it will see the Ge as the current material, and when in the hole of the detector, it will see the air as current material. You don't need any "or" condition in your stepping action. Does it answer your question ?
