Question Minimum Size of a Volume

Forum: Geometry
Date: 27 May, 2011
From: Matt Worden <Matt Worden>

I was wondering, what is the minimum size of a volume that Geant can handle?

I ask because a particle detector I have been designing in Geant4 has a radius of .1mm.

Now I am trying to model a simple cube of the same half length and I am getting a core dump with a message saying that the dimensions are too small.

I am confused since I have been using a geometry of this size for a long time now with no problem.

And insight?

Thanks for your time
