To see your detector as the tracking system sees it:

  /vis/open RayTracer

or

 /vis/open RayTracerX

then

  /vis/drawVolume
  /vis/viewer/flush

Then wait... This produces a jpeg file. To speed up, but getting smaller and poorer image, you can

  /vis/open RayTracerX 200x200

To get a different viewpoint the usual vis commands work, but it's tedious to iterate with RayTracer. You can find a good viewpoint and zoom, etc., with, say, OpenGL (let's say that's viewer-0), then

  /vis/open RayTracerX
  /vis/viewer/set/all viewer-0
  /vis/viewer/flush
